It all started when they were both sitting in the living room. Mark is sipping a totally fine, but standard sparkling drink. Suddenly, he turns to Rita with a grin:
“I have an idea. Our own beverage. We should call it BURRPS.”
Rita laughed, partly because it was funny, mostly because she was sold.
Coming from background in filmmaking and social media, we knew how to tell stories, build community, and make things people actually care about. But the drink aisle felt... predictable. We wanted to create a bold, purposeful sports drink that doesn't take itself too seriously, but delivers when you need it most.
And just like that, BURRPS was born.
